O You Of Little Faith

Summary: The world has yet to witness the wonders & miracles done with great faith.
And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:31
Peter walked on water with little faith. With little faith, if Peter can walk on water, breaking all the laws of physics, with great faith, what can He do? He can easily stop storms, walk through space, break all gravitational laws and so on. The world has yet to witness the wonders & miracles done with great faith.
With little faith, Peter walked on water. Seeing Jesus walk on the water inspired Peter to walk on water. Seeing Jesus is the root of faith, where we take a step forward to do what seems impossible. Peter would not have entered the water if he hadn't seen Jesus do so. Maybe by seeing Jesus and having a constant gaze on Jesus, we might take great strides or steps of faith in life. When we constantly see Jesus, it makes no difference whether we have little or great faith. Our level of faith is irrelevant; what matters is that we need to continuously see Jesus. Faith starts or revolves around seeing Jesus. The more we see Jesus, the more easily we can accomplish impossible things.
But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” Matthew 14:30
Turning your gaze away from Jesus and towards the situation is the root of doubt. Even glimpses of the situations around you create a lot of doubt. If we turn our gaze away from Jesus even for a moment, doubt can creep or set in. One glance towards the surrounding situation in the sea (wind and waves) made Peter sink. A single glance away from Jesus caused Peter to sink. How much more careful should we be? A single glance away from Jesus is a costly mistake. Keep your gaze always fixed on Jesus.
Maybe God expects you to take steps / actions by constantly gazing at Jesus, whether you have little faith or no faith. Peter walked on water; did you also walk or overcome your impossible situation? If not, ask God to help you walk or overcome your impossible situation. Even if no one else has been able to overcome that situation or challenge earlier, with God you can overcome it. Peter was the first person to walk on water, you can also become the first person to overcome the impossible situation. Do not give up, but keep your gaze fixed on Jesus.
The waves and sea are always ready to toss you and create doubt. If your eyes are not fixed on Jesus, it becomes easier for the wind and sea to toss and throw you into doubt and confusion. Keeping faith or accepting a situation as it is - is a choice. We don’t lose much when we keep faith in God, but we lose a lot when we don't keep faith. In every situation, Faith in God is a decision we must take. The more we see Jesus, the more easily we can take a step of faith towards our goal or purpose.
Always remember that when we don’t keep faith or trust on Jesus, we will lose so much in everything.
