Text: John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Satan is a Thief; A life Taker; There is no goodness in The devil
The devil has 3 purposes in our life
To Steal Every good thing and blessing
That God wants us to have
To Kill He wants to take our life ;thru
Sickness, disease, , drug addiction ,
Crime ,
To destroy Our peace of mind ,our
Homes and marriages ; He wants to destroy us Spiritually and take us to
Hell
Jesus is the life giver
He gives us Abundant life
Spiritual
Physical
Financial
Eternal Life
How does Jesus give us life and what did it cost
Him? It cost Him his BLOOD!!
Lev 17:11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life.
There is more power in one drop of Jesus’ blood than
Is in the entire kingdom of Satan put together .
The Blood of Jesus is the source of our life
In the shedding of His blood, Jesus the Great High
Priest of the New Covenant fulfilled in exact detail
The picture of the Old Testament High Priest in Lev.
Chapter 16 The sprinkling of the blood sacrifice
Seven times
Lev 16:14 And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.
Seven ways the Blood of Jesus was shed for us
1. In the Garden of Gethsemane He sweated
Drops of blood Luke 22:44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
2.At the trial of the high priest He was beaten
And His blood was shed
3.He shed His blood the third time when they
Plucked out his beard. Isa 50:6 I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting.
4.Beat with a whip 39 stripes Mat 27:26 Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.
5. The Crown of Thorns Mat 27:29 and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand and knelt in front of him and mocked him. "Hail, king of the Jews!" they said.
Mat 27:30 They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again.
6.Crucified ; nails in hands and feet
7.Side pierced with a spear John 19:34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.
Seven ways the blood of Jesus works in our life
1.We are Redeemed by His Blood
Redeemed means to pay the ransom for
Salvation
Healing
Eph 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace
1 Pet 1:18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers,
1 Pet 1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
2.We are Justified by the Blood
Rom 5:9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!
Justified---“ just -as -if” we never sinned
3 . Sanctified by the blood of Jesus
Heb 13:12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.
Sanctified means to be made Holy(set apart)
4.We are kept clean and pure by His Blood
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
5.The Blood gives us boldness and Access to God
Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
6.The Blood of Jesus speaks in our behalf in
Heaven Pleading--- Grace and Mercy
Heb 12:23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect,
Heb 12:24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
