To show that we need to rejoice if we can be like our Teacher or our Master

Students are to be like their teacher, and slaves are to be like their master. And since I, the master of the household, have been called the prince of demons, the members of my household will be called by even worse names!

V. THESIS:

Be glad when you as a student you're like your teacher or a slave that is like his master.

A. A disciple (student) should be glad to be like his teacher (Luke 6:40, Acts 22:3)

Students are not greater than their teacher. But the student who is fully trained will become like the teacher.

1. Apostle Paul is very glad even mentioning the name of his teacher because needless to say Paul is like his teacher Gamaliel in trainings and zealousness.

a. It's our training from the LORD GOD - our daily devotion and prayer

B. A slave (love slave) should be glad to be like his master

1. We are identified by this world by our Master, and His Name is LORD JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth.

a. Better be slaves of righteousness and of LORD JESUS CHRIST rather than a slave to sin.

(3) So we identify with our Master JESUS CHRIST, in several factors mentioned here: (a) level of persecution, (b) if people will listen to us or not, (c) determines who controls us.

C. If your master is called a demon, how much more the slave.

1. Beelzebul or other name for satan, is the prince of demons. like his master, satan, he also longs to be worshipped and called lord (Hebrew:baali) no wonder the name of the idol is baal.
