No Reverence In God's House

NO REVERENCE IN GOD'S HOUSE {COMMON CHURCH DISTRACTIONS}

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ~2 Timothy 2:15

Some people do not listen to the WORD OF GOD. Instead they do everything but listening and learning God's word. If someone isn't paying attention, they drag others into their disobedience. These are some of the things they think is more important to God.

1. Texting:

They won't turn off their phones but rather someone not in church will always text and the one who didn’t turn off their phone is dragged into their ungodliness.

2. Yawning:

They are so bored that they yawn. The WORD OF GOD SHOULD NEVER BORE YOU.

3. Bored:

Bored because they would rather be watching the game or hanging out with the fellas.

4. Distracted:

Distracted about what they would rather be doing instead of actually being at Church.

5. People Talking To Each Other:

Talking to others; interrupting theirs and the attention of others and not listening to the Word of God.

6. Looking At Their Watch:

Thinking on what they will be doing after church. Hoping that the preacher will let them go early so they can watch the rest of the game or get to the restaurant in time for lunch.

7. Playing With Their Cell Phone:

They just downloaded a game/movie/song the night before or browsing some ungodly thing.

8. Fallen Asleep:

The word of God is so powerful that will not let anyone sleep. If your falling asleep, you are dead in the spirit and disrespecting God's word.

THE QUESTION IS:

✿ Are you a dead Christian?

A dead Christian is someone who is spiritually asleep and thinks they are not. Being spiritually asleep reminds me of a scripture.

His watchmen are blind, All of them know nothing. All of them are mute dogs unable to bark, Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber. ~Isaiah 56:10

✿ Are you going to a dead Church?

A dead church is where the pastor tells long stories and DON’T ever read from the bible. The devil knows that if your pastor doesn’t preach from the bible, he won't encourage you to read out of church. A dead church is a church where there is no movement of the HOLY GHOST because there is no praise and no worship that is much needed. We are to praise the Lord and worship Him at all times in spirit, truth and Holiness. Everything we do, we are to do it to the Glory of God.

But some people are only Sunday Christians and put on their Saint suit on Sunday and as soon as they get home, they go to the closet and get their devil suit and join the ungodly acts and deeds of the world.

A true spirit filled Church will preach the Truth, the Gospel, Salvation and repentance. They shout "Praises and Amen". There is crying and people running to the altar in a Spirit filled blood bought church. You don't have time to sleep or be bored or wonder when the service will be over.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. ~Ephesians 5:14-21

And a true born again believer will find God’s word interesting. Like the scripture says, God should be number 1 in all you do.

Even the devils know God but do not respect His doctrine or keep His commandments. Satan knows every word in the bible. That's why he can twist it but can use it to keep you away from the truth. Be very careful. Satan loves a dead Christian and a church that stays asleep.

9. Parents:

Some parents don’t care about their kids screaming and running around. They refuse to get up and take their screaming children out to the nursery. They let their kids run or play inside the church.

Church is not a playground. It’s a HOLY PLACE where we worship the Living Mighty God. It is disrespectful to God. Others are trying to learn the Word and worship like we ought but when a child screams, it distracts others and they can’t pay attention to the Word of God.

When will you respect the Living God and worship Him in Truth and in Spirit and in Holiness? When will you put God first? Wake up church.
