Summary: God meticulously works out every single aspect necessary for your life. If you trust Him, there would be no flaws, no confusion and no delays!

No noise!

1 King 6:7 “And the temple, when it was being built, was built with stone finished at the quarry, so that no hammer or chisel or any iron tool was heard in the temple while it was being built.”

God meticulously works out every single aspect necessary for your life. If you trust Him, there would be no flaws, no confusion and no delays! Have you watched the chaos, noise and confusion while a house is under construction? Not only the construction site of the house is in mayhem, but there is high tension when the money runs out or there is shortage of materials. But today I want to point out a scripture to you which we may not in the normal course of reading give much attention, but the Lord gave me deep insight to the above scripture.

When the temple of the Lord was built by Solomon, the materials are brought in ready to be fitted in their respective places, absolutely ready that there was neither hammer nor or chisel heard in the house while it was in building. No noise! Wow! This baffled and awed me! When God is in the project, the toughest job becomes easy!

Mathew Henry puts it this way “But here, it seems, the preparation was more than ordinarily full and exact, to such a degree that, when the several parts came to be put together, there was nothing defective to be added, nothing amiss to be amended.”

Sometimes we wonder, “hey, what’s happening? Here, I am praying and nothing seems to be happening?” Friend, unlike us, our God works out things silently and efficiently! No noise does not mean, nothing is happening! The work is on! May be you cannot hear the sound of the hammer or the chisel, but mark it, your future, your career, your finances, your health, your children, your family are being built. I am excited! Did you know king Solomon completed the temple in seven years? Considering the vastness, elegance, opulence and magnificence of the temple, it has been completed too soon I must say! 1 King 6:38 says, “…..the house (of the Lord) was finished in all its details and according to all its plans. So he was seven years in building it.” Observe the words, ‘according to all its plans!’ Our God never would leave you midway, He would perfectly finish the work He has started. The Apostle Paul says, “He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ..” (Philippians 1:6)

The best thing I love about my ministry trips are my travel! I love it! Most important are the nights! I love the shroud of silence and contemplation nights throw on my mind. As others tuck themselves to bed, if I am allotted with a window seat, then my journey becomes divine. Sitting by the window, as the wind whooshed my hair, I would watch the distant city lights, feel an incredible high as I commune with my Creator. I have heard the voice of God speak loud and clear in the quietness of the night! Friend, I don’t have to see the wind to feel it blow across my face and hair ; likewise I don’t have to see God physically to hear Him. I hear and commune with Him in silence, in my spirit!

Friend, we don’t need tangible evidence of God operating in our life, all we need is infallible confidence in His Mighty power!
