Plan for: Thanksgiving | Advent | Christmas
This sermon encourages believers to embrace the boundless possibilities of faith in God, witnessing His wonders and becoming bold through His blessings.
Good morning, friends. It's a delight to gather with you once again, in this sacred space where we come together as one body to worship and learn about our Boundless God. A God whose love, grace, and power has no limits.
[Scripture reading]
These two passages are not just mere words, but they are the very breath of God. They are the promises of our God who invites us to believe in Him, to bear witness to His wonders, and to become bold through His blessings.
Charles Spurgeon once said, "Faith goes up the stairs that love has built and looks out the windows which hope has opened." These words are a profound reminder that our faith in our Boundless God is built on His love for us, and it is through this faith that we can hope for the impossible.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your boundless love, grace, and power. We thank You for the promise that with You, nothing is impossible, and that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. As we meditate on Your word today, open our hearts to believe in You more, to bear witness to Your wonders, and to become bold through Your blessings. In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
Let’s get started!
When we consider the nature of our God, we find ourselves standing before an entity of immeasurable magnitude. His love is like an ocean, vast and deep, stretching beyond the horizon. His grace is like the sky, covering us from all sides, never ending and always present. His power is like the universe itself, infinite and ever-expanding. This is the God we are invited to believe in.
Belief, in its essence, is a deeply personal and intimate act. It's a surrender, a leap of faith into the arms of the unknown. It's a decision to trust, even when our eyes can't see, and our minds can't comprehend. It's a commitment to hold onto the promises of God, even when the world around us is shaking. And when we choose to believe in this Boundless God, we are choosing to believe in a love that is unending, a grace that is unfailing, and a power that is unbeatable.
The Scriptures tell us that with God, nothing is impossible. This is a profound statement that challenges our human understanding and stretches our faith. It's a statement that shatters the boundaries of our limited thinking and invites us to step into the realm of the boundless. It's a statement that echoes the heartbeat of our Boundless God, a God who is not confined by the laws of nature, the constraints of time, or the limitations of space.
When we choose to believe in this Boundless God, we are choosing to believe in the impossible. We are choosing to believe that the Red Sea can part, that the walls of Jericho can fall, that the sun can stand still, and that the dead can rise again. We are choosing to believe that our sins can be forgiven, that our wounds can be healed, that our chains can be broken, and that our lives can be transformed. We are choosing to believe that with God, nothing is impossible.
The apostle Paul, a man who experienced the boundless power of God in a profound way, declared that he could do all things through Christ who strengthens him. This is a bold statement that reflects a deep and unwavering faith in the Boundless God. It's a statement that speaks of a confidence that is not rooted in self, but in Christ. It's a statement that testifies to the transformative power of God's strength in our weakness.
When we choose to believe in this Boundless God, we are choosing to believe that we can do all things through Christ. We are choosing to believe that we can overcome our fears, conquer our battles, endure our trials, and triumph over our temptations. We are choosing to believe that we can love the unlovable, forgive the unforgivable, reach the unreachable, and achieve the unachievable. We are choosing to believe that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Believing in God is not a passive act, but an active pursuit. It's a journey of faith that requires us to let go of our doubts, confront our fears, challenge our assumptions, and embrace the unknown. It's a journey that calls us to step out of our comfort zones, to stretch our faith, and to reach out for the boundless. It's a journey that leads us to experience the fullness of God's love, the richness of His grace, and the power of His might.
When we choose to believe in this Boundless God, we are choosing to embark on this journey of faith. We are choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, to live by faith and not by fear, to stand by faith and not by doubt. We are choosing to trust in the promises of God, to rely on the power of God, and to rest in the presence of God.
As we continue to reflect on the boundless nature of our God, we find ourselves drawn to the wonders He has performed ... View this full PRO sermon free with PRO
