And when your days are fulfilled and you sleep with your fathers, I will set up after you your offspring who shall be born to you, and I will establish his kingdom.

He shall build a house for My ame [and My Presence], and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

2 Samuel 6:23 (Amplified Bible)

And Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death.

2 Samuel 6:23 (New King James Version)

Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death.

A. No children for natural women

"Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children"

Michal means "rivulet" or a small brook, that doesn't influence anyone or anything, she's just there like a decoration for the king. Where can she get her "spiritual" teaching if she's the daughter of a disobedient king? She never did anything about her condition. Unlike the Hannah, the mother of Samuel and Elizabeth, the mother John, the Baptist.

1 Samuel 1:6-8 (Amplified Bible)

[This embarrassed and grieved Hannah] and her rival provoked her greatly to vex her, because the Lord had left her childless.

So it was year after year; whenever Hannah went up to the Lord’s house, Peninnah provoked her, so she wept and did not eat.

Then Elkanah her husband said to her, Hannah, why do you cry? And why do you not eat? And why are you grieving? Am I not more to you than ten sons?

Luke 1:25 (Amplified Bible)

Because thus the Lord has dealt with me in the days when He deigned to look on me to take away my reproach among men.

She's contended of being married to king David.

Isaiah 4:1 (Amplified Bible)

AND IN that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread and provide our own apparel; only let us be called by your name to take away our reproach [of being unmarried].

While during their days, being childless is connected with having glory or honor.

Hosea 9:11 (Amplified Bible)

As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird; there shall be no birth, no being with child, and [because of their impurity] no becoming pregnant.

We can say then that Michal is not willing to repent of what she said to her husband, king David and she's without honor and only a natural woman, not a spiritual one, different in all her ways with the proverbs 31 woman who is a spiritual woman.

2 Samuel 6:20 (Amplified Bible)

Then David returned to bless his household. And [his wife] Michal daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said, How glorious was the king of Israel today, who stripped himself of his kingly robes and uncovered himself in the eyes of his servants’ maids as one of the worthless fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!

Proverbs 15:9 (Amplified Bible)

The way of the wicked is an abomination, extremely disgusting and shamefully vile to the Lord, but He loves him who pursues righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation).

Proverbs 31:15 (Amplified Bible)

She rises while it is yet night and gets [spiritual] food for her household and assigns her maids their tasks.
