The Integrity through Prayer - I will keep thy statutes.

A Divine Pursuit - 146 I cried unto thee;

A Direct Pursuit - save me,

A Devout Pursuit - and I shall keep thy testimonies.

It's Persistence

His Hunger - 147 I prevented the dawning of the morning, I rise before dawn and cry

His Hurt - and cried:

His Hope - I hoped in thy word. -

There is Hope in God's Word, Help in God's Word, Healing in God's Word,

It's Priority

His Mediation - 148 Mine eyes prevent the night watches,

My eyes stay open through the watches of the night,

His Meditation - that I might meditate

His Motivation - in thy word.

It's Prize - He Wants to be -

Heard - 149 Hear my voice

Humbled - according unto thy lovingkindness:

Helped - O Lord, quicken me

Holy - according to thy judgment.

II.The Psalmist’s COMFORT - The Presence of God (vs. 150-151).

David's Provocation - His Foe

Their Position - 150 They draw nigh

Their Pursuit - that follow after mischief:

Their Perversion - they are far from thy law.

David's Perception - His Father

His Presence - 151 Thou art near,

The enemy may draw near, but God is NEARER.

His Preeminence - O Lord;

His Precedence - and all thy commandments are truth.

David's Persuasion - His Faith -

III.The Psalmist’s CONFIDENCE - The Permanence in God (v. 152)

In God's Truth - 152 Concerning thy testimonies,

In God's Trust - I have known of old

In God's Triumph - that thou hast founded them for ever

God is Near - so God will Hear - while God's Word Cheers.
