Introduction

Don't Give Up on God! Coming out of a Dead Situation! John 11:20-23

Section 1

Today's sermon is about the faith of Christians and the story of Lazarus, Mary, and Martha. It's important to remember to not give up on God, even when faced with difficult circumstances. God has a purpose for everything we go through, even if we can't see it at the time. So, don't give up on God!

Section 2

In the story of Lazarus, we see that Jesus delayed his departure when he heard that Lazarus was sick. Despite Martha's disappointment and doubt, Jesus assured her that her brother would rise again. This is a reminder to us that God's timing is perfect, even when it doesn't align with our own desires.

Sometimes, we may feel like giving up when we face challenges in our lives. But God wants us to hold onto our faith and trust in Him. He knows the struggles we face, whether it's financial difficulties or other hardships. He sees our efforts and prayers, and He understands our pain. So, don't give up!

Section 3

We may feel like our breakthrough is taking too long to come, but God has a reason for the delay. He wants to strengthen us and ensure that when our breakthrough comes, it will be lasting and impactful. So, trust in God's timing and don't lose hope.

In the story, Mary also expressed her disappointment to Jesus when he arrived. Jesus was moved by her pain and wept with her. This shows us that Jesus cares deeply for us and our struggles. He understands our emotions and wants to bring us comfort.

Section 4

As Jesus approached Lazarus' tomb, he commanded the stone to be removed. Despite objections from those around him, Jesus knew that God's glory would be revealed through this situation. And indeed, when Jesus called out to Lazarus, he came forth from the grave.

This story teaches us that we have the power to call forth life into dead situations. We can speak life into our struggles and trust that God will bring about a resurrection. Just as Lazarus came forth from the tomb, we too can experience a release from our dead situations.

Section 5

Sometimes, when our breakthrough comes, we may still feel bound by our past struggles. But just as Jesus commanded Lazarus to be loosed, He can also release us from the bondage of our past. We can find freedom and move forward in our lives.

So, let us not give up on God. Let us hold onto our faith and trust in His timing. He is working behind the scenes, even when we can't see it. He wants to bring us out of our dead situations and into a place of victory.

Conclusion

Remember, the race is not given to the swift or the strong, but to those who endure till the end. So, don't give up on God. Keep pressing forward and praising Him for the victory that is to come.
