Never Forsaken

Summary: THE RIGHTEOUS BELIEVER WILL NEVER BE SPIRITUALLY DEPRIVED.
NEVER FORSAKEN
INTRODUCTION: PSALMS IS AN ANCIENT, JEWISH SONGBOOK. IT ADDRESSES PRAYERS, PRAISE AND COMPLAINTS TO GOD.
SPIRITUAL INSIGHT:
PSALMS 37: 25 (NKJV) I HAVE BEEN YOUNG, AND (NOW) AM OLD; I HAVE NOT SEEN THE RIGHTEOUS FORSAKEN, NOR HIS DESCENDANTS BEGGING BREAD.
THE PSALMISTS ADDRESSED THIS REALITY HISTORICALLY TO THE NATION ISRAEL IF THEY OBEYED HIM. FUTURISTICALLY, IT APPLIES TO CHRIST’S BRIDE, THE CHURCH, COMPOSED OF ALL RACES. (EPHESIANS 1: 15-23).
THE CHURCH, TRUE BELIEVERS, THE RIGHTEOUS, WILL NEVER BE DEPRIVED IN A SPIRITUAL SENSE. THEY COULD EXPERIENCE PHYSICAL HUNGER IN SOME CASES BUT NOT HUNGER IN THE SPIRITUAL. THE LORD IS AVAILABLE TO ALL TRUE BELIEVERS.
CHRIST IS THE BREAD OF LIFE. JOHN 6:35 (NKJV) AND JESUS SAID TO THEM, I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE. HE WHO COMES TO ME SHALL NEVER HUNGER, AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME SHALL NEVER THIRST. JOHN 6:48 (NKJV) I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE.
APPLICATION: THE BRIDE OF CHRIST, THE CHURCH, SHOULD NEVER WANT FOR ANY GOOD THING!
