Negativism Series

Are you emphasizing the positive or the negative?

Are you a religion basher, or a Life dispenser?

Are you a faultfinder, or a solution maker?

Are you promoting lies and deception, or truth and light?

NEGATIVISM - We live in a day of massive negativism. Everyone is a critic, and faultfinding is running rampant. Respect for authority, law, and order are disappearing. Nothing is sacred anymore; Christianity, the Church, and even the Holy Bible itself are under attack. We need to repeal and replace all false doctrines and misinformation with The Truth.

WHAT ARE YOU THINKING - Some caution against stinking thinking, and rightfully so, it is deadly. “Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

TRUTH WILL PREVAIL - The Truth is based upon God’s Holy Word the Bible and grounded in the Lord Jesus Christ. God’s Word is true and Jesus Christ is The Truth. If you are not living from a vital connection to the true Source of Life in Christ, you will be deceived, disjointed and divided. But when you know The Truth, The Truth will make you free. And then you will be free indeed!

TRUTHFULLY SPEAKING - Always speak the Truth in LOVE! We all go through hard times and encounter hurtful, hateful people. Every day on the news there are more reports of global tragedy. Let’s face it; it’s a hard cruel world. But God’s love covers it all! What this old world needs is a good dose of God’s love. God’s love can take it. God’s love can fix it. And God’s love can enable you to deal with it, whatever it may be. “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:8)

Therefore, let God's love fill you, so that his love can abound in your life. And then you will be able to make a positive difference in this broken, hurting world! Dr. Lewis Gregory 2/17
