John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Sinners are going to be sinners. Pray for them to be saved, but browbeating is not how we are to do it. First, we clean up our backyard.

Jude1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should {earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.}

2 Tim 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; {reprove, rebuke, exhort} with all longsuffering and doctrine.

1 Thess 5:14 Now we exhort you, brethren, {warn them that are unruly}, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, {mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine} which ye have learned; and avoid them.

1 Cor 11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are {approved may be made manifest} among you.

Meaning that there will be the unapproved who promote heresies/divisions by doctrine or divide the Body by other means.

2 Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, {rightly dividing the word of truth}.

You can rightly divide or interpret or not. The not should be pointed out and stood against. Silence is condolence. Marking or pointing out the false doctrine is not judging. The Word has already judged the false doctrine. You are merely contending for the faith once delivered to the saints by reproving, rebuking and warning the teachers of the false doctrine as well as defending the Body against these heresies. Complaisance in the name of love has allowed the cankers to spread throughout the Body making it weak and ineffective in its mission.
