My Pride Is In Christ

Summary: People spiritually and verbally view and define pride in a negative way, but when we look at the word translates from the Greek and Hebrew language we get different meanings
** the word pride in the Hebrew is 'gevah' which means exaltation or lifting up.
___my exaltation is in Jesus Christ
___the word exaltation means promotion.....my promotion is in Jesus Christ.
___the presence of Christ will promote you from one glory to another
___from one success to another
___the word exaltation means praise
___ (1 Corinthians 4:5)
** another hebrew word for pride is 'rohab' which means strength.
___my strength is in Jesus Christ
___ ( 2 Corinthians 12:9-10) (Isaiah 40:31) ( Philippians 4:13)
** another hebrew word for pride is 'shachats' which means dignity
___my dignity is in Jesus Christ.
___another word for dignity is excellence.
___ ( 2 Corinthians 4:7)
___ ( Psalm 139:14)
** Circumcision____Genesis 17:10
___it was a covenant or mark that God made with man.....every seed that passes through that mark was automatically marked with God's promise.
