Plan for: Thanksgiving | Advent | Christmas
To reach the unreached with the gospel, we need to shift our attitudes, actions, alignment, abundance, and anointing.
Hey guys, have you ever wondered why we're here on earth? Well, Jesus gave us two big jobs. First, the Great Commandment: Love God with everything you've got and love your neighbor as much as you love yourself. Second, the Great Commission: Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them. So, our job is to love God, love others, and share the good news with everyone.
Our job is to love God, love others, and share the good news with everyone.
Now, imagine this. Every year, 17 million people die without hearing about God's love. That's like the entire population of the Netherlands! It's like every two seconds, someone leaves this world without knowing about God's love. That's a big deal, right? Jesus said the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. We need to pray for more workers and be ready to step out of our comfort zones to serve others.
Let's think about the Parable of the Sower. You know, the one where the farmer sows seeds on different types of soil. The yield depends on the quality of the soil, but even in good soil, the harvest can vary. Some seeds produce thirty times what was sown, while others produce one hundred times. We need to figure out what makes the difference and how we can multiply our spiritual harvest.
Traditional missionary methods have done some good, but there are still billions of people who haven't heard the gospel. We need to face the fact that 41% of the global population hasn't heard about Jesus. We can't just keep doing the same old thing. We need a power shift in our thinking and methods to reach the unreached.
We need to get a clear picture of what God is doing in the world. Without understanding His redemptive nature, we'll be like a ship without a compass. We also need biblical wisdom to guide our actions and decisions. By studying the Bible and listening to the Holy Spirit, we can become expert builders in God's Kingdom.
We need to see the big picture and not just focus on our own little corner of the world. We need to be aware of global trends and seek God's wisdom to make the most impact for His glory. Through strategic power shifts, we can increase our productivity and reach more people with the gospel.
We've got a golden opportunity to partner with God in His mission. We've been chosen for such a time as this, to bring the good news to every people group in the world. Our obedience to God's command will impact the eternal destiny of individuals. Let's pray for the unreached, for missions opportunities, and for the empowerment to fulfill God's greatest desire.
As we wrap this up, remember that nothing is impossible with God. Let's renew our vision of God's redemptive work and seek His guidance in all that we do. Let's experience a fresh power shift in our lives and in our church, leading to a greater harvest for His Kingdom.
Now, let's pray. Dear God, help us to see the big picture and to understand Your heart for the world. Give us the courage to step out of our comfort zones and to share Your love with others. Empower us to be part of the solution, to be workers in Your harvest field. In Jesus' name, Amen.
1. Why do you think 41% of the world's population has yet to hear about Jesus?
2. What are some ways we can shift our attitudes and actions to reach more people with the gospel?
3. How can we apply the lessons from the Parable of the Sower to our lives?
4. What does it mean to have a prophetic vision of what God is doing in the world?
5. How can we partner with God in His mission?
