Mouth Of Wisdom

Summary: What a wonderful promise given by God! God promises you a mouth of wisdom!
Mouth of wisdom!
Luke 21:15 “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist”.
What a wonderful promise given by God! God promises you a mouth of wisdom! The moment you walk into the interviewer’s cabin, God can give you a ‘mouth of wisdom’, not the gift of the gab which the world is boasting about. When you truthfully answer your interviewer and hand him over a resume which contains the truth and no false reports regarding your experience and educational qualifications, be sure to be blessed. Let even the reference addresses and residence address be nothing but the truth. Check out the above scripture again, God says He will put words of wisdom in your mouth that even your friends and colleagues would be awed. Praise God! This is not because of your post graduation, but it is supernaturally given by God to His children. No International Institution can give you this, it comes from Heaven. I’m excited!
I like the way Joseph answers the pagan monarch Pharaoh right after changing his prison clothes, Genesis 41:16 says “So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, "It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace." My, what confidence! Friend, this is nothing but confidence in God! His everyday fellowship with God, integrity and holiness in his life has been the reason for this reward in the life of Joseph. It was no small price that Joseph paid to arrive at this divine stage of speaking words of wisdom to the king. God had to take Joseph through severe pain and humiliation to mould him to this shape. This was the same Joseph who bragged about his dream to his brothers. He was not able to keep the dream within himself which was meant only for him. Some dreams and revelations are meant just for you! Did you get that? Friend, God cannot continue to speak to people with a jabber mouth. Joseph went through a ‘silent period’ of 13 years inside the prison to learn to control his mouth. Some make a big noise with just a small revelation from God, no wonder these people vanish like morning dew. Learn to clamp your mouth and stay silent. The Bible says that when Mary heard the prophetic message about Jesus, “she kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.” (Luke 2:19) Sometimes, we need to be discrete, so as not to expose our secrets to the enemy the devil. Did you get that?
Right from Twitter, Orkut, Face Book and a plethora of other social networks, are nothing but exchange of unnecessary arguments and bragging of self. A sheer waste of precious time. Young people, watch what you post on your blog! A Christian husband posts about the misbehavior of his wife on his face book, aren’t we getting crazy? The Bible clearly warns us: Proverbs 10:19 “In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.”
Friend, it is easy to be a blabbermouth and impulsively pour out everything you think of, but it sure needs strength, character, discipline and self-control to refrain from speaking needlessly.
Proverbs 11:13 “…..But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.”
