Motives Are Weighed By The Lord

Cultivate a good motive anytime you pray. God's answer is primarily dependent on the motive behind what you are asking Him.

A person can draw up plans the way a drill officer arranges the navy in a parade. However, the outcome of those plans is beyond human efforts. It is solely dependent on the Lord's approval.

God is Supreme! He is not bound by your words. He is bound by His Word. He does not support your programme, He supports His own!

He does not answer prayers with evil intentions. He answers prayers with good intentions. Your prayer requests must be free from pride, selfishness, and greed.

Reason with God! Give good reasons! Be polite, you are talking to the King! Don't go through the corners. Tell Him what you want! State your needs! Be direct and precise. You are talking to your Father in Heaven. Praise Him! Worship Him! Honour Him! Adore Him!

Your conscience for asking must be clear and pure! He weighs our motives before He gives answers!

I encourage you today to seek the Lord's will before drawing up your plans. He owns the final authority and reserves the final say!

Shalom Aleichim 🙏
