Mighty Works Of God

Summary: This sermon looks at the events the Lord has brought into our world for a wake up call. How many homes will have to be destroyed, how many lives will be turned upside down before the people repent? Will your life be the next one changed forever?
MIGHTY WORKS OF GOD
I. GOD KNOWS OUR RESPONSE (vs.22)
A. We must not forget the mighty works of God in:
1. Our own lives
2. Our own churches
3. Our own families
B. "mighty works" for a reponse (v.21)
1. What did God do to draw you closer?
2. God will do "mighty works" for just one.
II. GOD DOSN’T OWE US ANTHING
A. His grace and mercy are not paymentfor a job well done.
B. It is not inherited
C. The only thing eternal we earn in this life is Hell.
III. GOD’S JUDGEMENT IS SHURE (V. 24)
A. Don’t mistake God’s patience for His approval
1. those people living like devils
2. those who claim to be Christians but don’t live it.
3. Maybe one here today, Gods been dealing with you about something in your life?
B. God is long-suffering, not willing that any should perish.
C. Be not deceived God is not mocked, His judgement will one day fall apon you.
D. Ignorance is forgiven, but disregard is not!
IV. IS OUR RESPONSE RIGHT?
A. God has blessed the USA, but we have kicked Him out of our schools, puplic places and homes.
B. God has warned the USA; 9-11 attacks, Huricaines, earthquakes, Bombings, shootings
C. What more "mighty works" in this world will He have to do people become repentant?
D. How much more "mighty works" in your life will He have to do before you repent?
E. God is not looking for an apollogy, He wants repentance!
Closing prayer: Lord help us to be a repentant people. We know you control the storms, the earthquakes and all the happenings arond us. I pray heavenly Father that people will see that you are tring to get their attention. I pray your Holy Spirit will enable them to repent of their sins this very day. In the precious name of Jesus; Amen
