MIGHTY MEN OF VALOUR
"For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God" (1 Chronicles 12:22)
David was a great king of Israel He had several enemies, and God preserved him whithersoever he went (1 Chronicles 18:13). God loved him so much; David obeyed God and hearkened diligently to His words, and God's mercy was always with him, the sure mercy of David (Isaiah 55:3).
He didn't have a smooth ride to the throne of the King, but mighty men of valor came to help him get to that great throne. We need mighty men of valor in our lives to fulfill our destiny. You can't do it all alone. You can't make yourself great. Mighty men of valor and destiny helpers are needed to make you achieve your potential.
There has never been a President of any country who achieved that position without the assistance of advisers, counsellors, publicists, financiers, and even people who will vote for him during the election process. Brethren, we can't do all the work alone; a pastor can't be great without the help of these mighty men of valor, who will help him succeed. Choristers, church ushers, website managers, media broadcasters, sermon publishers, book publicists, and church facility managers are some of the mighty men that we need to succeed and wax great exceedingly.
Let's pray to God to connect us to these mighty men of valor and destiny helpers. These men came day by day to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God. (1 Chronicles 12:22.)

B. Also, King David also had other mighty men,
1. Josheb-Basshebeth the Tachmonite, chief among the captains. He was called Adino the Eznite, because he had killed eight hundred men at one time. (2 Samuel 23:8);
2. Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there for battle, and the men of Israel had retreated. He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand stuck to the sword. The Lord brought about a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder. (2 Samuel 23:8-9);
