VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Melchizedek has no father, mother or ancestral line

"Without [record of] father or mother or ancestral line"

Melchizedek is described as fatherless, motherless and not recorded in the ancient history of man. Melchizedek is a type of CHRIST, He is the Pre-Incarnate CHRIST.

1. Melchizedek is greater than Abraham

Hebrews 7:1 (Amplified Bible)

7:1 FOR THIS Melchizedek, king of Salem [and] priest of the Most High God, met Abraham as he returned from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,

Hebrews 7:7 (Amplified Bible)

7:7 Yet it is beyond all contradiction that it is the lesser person who is blessed by the greater one.

2. Melchizedek did not came from tribe of Levi, but a priest forever, an order to Himself

Hebrews 7:6 (Amplified Bible)

7:6 But this person who has not their Levitical ancestry received tithes from Abraham [himself] and blessed him who possessed the promises [of God].

3. Even Levi who was supposed to take the tithe for GOD, gave a tithe to Melchizedek

Hebrews 7:9-10 (Amplified Bible)

7:9 A person might even say that Levi [the father of the priestly tribe] himself, who received tithes (the tenth), paid tithes through Abraham,

7:10 For he was still in the loins of his forefather [Abraham] when Melchizedek met him [Abraham].

B. Melchizedek has no beginning of day nor ending life

"neither with beginning of days nor ending of life"

Revelation 1:8 (Amplified Bible)

1:8 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord God, He Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty (the Ruler of all).

Revelation 22:13 (Amplified Bible)

22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last (the Before all and the End of all).

Isaiah 44:6 (Amplified Bible)

44:6 Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God.

Isaiah 48:12 (Amplified Bible)

48:12 Listen to Me, O Jacob, and Israel, My called [ones]: I am He; I am the First, I also am the Last.

Melchizedek, the Pre-Incarnate CHRIST has no beginning and ending of life.

C. Melchizedek is priest forever without interruption and without successor

"he continues to be a priest without interruption and without successor"

Hebrews 5:6 (Amplified Bible)

5:6 As He says also in another place, You are a Priest [appointed] forever after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 6:20 (Amplified Bible)

6:20 Where Jesus has entered in for us [in advance], a Forerunner having become a High Priest forever after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 7:17 (Amplified Bible)

7:17 For it is witnessed of Him, You are a Priest forever after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 7:21 (Amplified Bible)

7:21 For those who formerly became priests received their office without its being confirmed by the taking of an oath by God, but this One was designated and addressed and saluted with an oath, The Lord has sworn and will not regret it or change His mind, You are a Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

Psalms 110:4 (Amplified Bible)

110:4 The Lord has sworn and will not revoke or change it: You are a priest forever, after the manner and order of Melchizedek.
