INTRODUCTION:

May is the fifth month of the year and 5 stands for grace.

As we enter the month of May, God is ushering us into a deeper dimension of His grace—Exceeding Grace. This is not ordinary grace for survival but abundant grace for thriving. It is grace that goes beyond limits, qualifications, efforts, and expectations. Exceeding grace makes the impossible possible and opens doors no man can shut.

Grace is the divine influence that enables a man to accomplish what he could never achieve by human strength. It is the unmerited favour and power of God poured generously on the believer. When grace is in operation, testimonies multiply, barriers are broken, and divine speed is released. May is prophetically declared as the season where exceeding grace will speak for you in every aspect of life.

In this new month, don’t just expect what is common. Lift your faith for what only grace can deliver. It is time to break free from cycles of limitation and labour. May will be marked by divine help, accelerated breakthroughs, and visible evidence of God's overwhelming grace upon your life.

1. EXCEEDING GRACE CANCELS HUMAN DISQUALIFICATION

Grace qualifies the unqualified.

a) Grace Overrides Past Mistakes

Where sin abounds, grace much more abounds (Romans 5:20).

b) Grace Shuts the Mouth of Accusers

The woman caught in adultery received mercy, not judgment (John 8:10–11).

c) Grace Gives You a Place Others Denied You

David was chosen though not considered (1 Samuel 16:11–13).

d) Grace Is God's Answer to Shame

It lifts you from the dust to sit with princes (Psalm 113:7–8).

Biblical Example: Mephibosheth was brought from Lodebar to the king's table by grace (2 Samuel 9:1–13).

2. EXCEEDING GRACE EMPOWERS FOR SUPERNATURAL LIVING

Grace is not just pardon; it is power.

His grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9).

c) Grace Produces Spiritual Growth

We grow in grace and knowledge (2 Peter 3:18).

What destroys others cannot destroy you (Jude 1:24).

Biblical Example: Paul became a mighty apostle by the grace of God (1 Corinthians 15:10).

Grace unlocks supernatural opportunities.

a) It Causes Favour to Locate You

Even strangers will serve your interest (Isaiah 60:10).

b) Grace Connects You to Destiny Helpers

c) Grace Grants Access Others Can’t Explain

It gives you a seat you did not apply for (Esther 2:15–17).

d) Doors Open by Grace, Not Struggle

Grace removes the need for manipulation (Revelation 3:8).

Biblical Example: Joseph moved from prison to palace by divine grace (Genesis 41:14–41).

4. EXCEEDING GRACE PRODUCES ABUNDANT RESULTS

Grace is a producer of visible impact.

a) Grace Turns Little into Overflow

Five loaves became more than enough (John 6:11–13).

b) Grace Accelerates Progress

What takes others years happens for you in days (Amos 9:13).

c) Grace Multiplies Efforts Supernaturally

One effort yields multiple results (Leviticus 26:9).

d) Grace Makes You Fruitful in All Seasons

Even in famine, you flourish (Psalm 1:3).

Biblical Example: Isaac sowed in the land and reaped a hundredfold (Genesis 26:12–14).

5. EXCEEDING GRACE PRESERVES AND PROTECTS

Grace is a shield around the believer.
