Manifesting Sonship

(Rom 8:19) For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Manifestation: An indication of the existence, reality, or presence of something: One of the forms in which someone or something, such as a person, a divine being, or an idea, is revealed. (1. An act of showing or displaying: (demonstration)

1) a laying bear, making naked (2) a disclosure of truth, an instruction concerning things before unknown

Jn. 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Power to become = the means, the right, the authority, the priveledge.

Jesus whole reason for coming to this earth, was not just to save the lost, but to restore us back to our rightful place as the sons of God. Through the process of forgiveness and regeneration, the blood and the spirit.

Salvation is accomplished not only by the cleansing of the blood, but also the regeneration by his spirit, = being born again. Once our spirit has been regenerated then his spirit comes to live inside us. ( We become by virtue of this indwelling spirit of God, The Sons of God.

As born again believers the only thing between you and manifesting sonship, is Knowledge and application.

(2 Pet 1:3-4 ) According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

As new creations in Christ Jesus we occupy the same position of sonship with the father that Jesus does,

(Heb 2:10 KJV) For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

There are certain rights and priveledges that come with sonship,

(#1) is the Authority and Power over all of satans kingdom. (Lu. 10:19) Behold I give unto you power=authority, to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy…. (This power he is speaking of is positional power.)

(#2) every promise of God belongs to you, it is part of your inheritance as a child of God, You don’t have to pray for it, you don’t have to fast for it, you don’t have to be good enough for it, you don’t have to earn it. You just have to take your place as his Sons and receive it.

(1 Cor 3:21-23 ) Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

(Rom 8:32 KJV) He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

(Eph 1:3 KJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

2 Pet 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Remember the story of the prodigal son? Remember the son that stayed home and how he was angry when his brother came home? Listen to him

(Luke 15:29-30) And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

Listen to his fathers words.

Luke 15:31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

(1 John 3:1-2 KJV) Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

The last aspect of manifesting sonship is: Using our position of authority and power to bless those who don’t know Jesus or have not come to a personal knowledge of who they are in Christ and what he has accomplished for them.
