Man's Pollution

Summary: Man has polluted the light from the sun and the Son.
Sunlight is white - shines through water in sky - makes sky blue. It is the light of the sun that makes life possible on the earth - that is interaction with H2O.
Ozone - Direct sunlight would kill us.
The same is true of God and His son. When the children of Israel came out of Egypt they could not look directly upon God - lest they die. Ex. 33:17-23
Ex. 19:21 charge the people, lest they break through unto the Lord to gaze
Now we go directly to God and the blood of Jesus Christ protects us.
Heb.9-24 "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us." Jesus is our mediator between us and God.
There are many different colors in sunlight. You can take sunlight and shine it through a prism and you get different colors that will spring off much like a rainbow. God works the same way. Love and mercy - judgment and worth -Father - Son - Holy Spirit - law - grace - long suffering and eternity and the swift and powerfulness. In fact, men do this to God and build what we call churches around them. The churches are slanted or colored toward a certain color and are not pure true light. True and pure light is white like sunlight. John 3:19-21
Also, men have changed the air content. In schools we instruct children to protect themselves. Ozone layer - in some large cities it is darkness at midday because of pollution. People in a city like New York very seldom see a clear blue sky. It may be clear but not dark blue - pollution. Men have polluted that which protects us from the sun. Men have also polluted Christ today.
The Word of God is light. John 1:1-12
Gal. 1:7 Perverted or changed the Gospel of Christ - Men have changed this light by separating it and by polluting it.
Gal. 3:1 "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth" Men have done it themselves in the name of progress. In the name of progress we are destroying our environment - styrofoam, aerosol cans, etc.
Tires - real rubber is much better in the long run. Man-made things have replaced so much of the natural today that younger generations don’t know what the real should look like. But these things have created a real problem...our pollutions. Our pollution is threatening to destroy us from off the face of the earth. Today there are so many man-made institutions the real Church of Christ is not recognizable - the real church and real Christians are seen as undesirable, like natural rubber tire. Just because we called it a church or just because we call them Christians doesn’t mean we are the real thing. Go to church - wear the name - just because it is called rubber doesn’t mean it is. Matt. 7:21-23 We must be one from the inside out. And that not as man sees but as God. Born again of the seed of God.
What is a righteous man?
The pollution of the world makes this a hard question to answer. Ps. 119:138
"Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful."
1st John 3:7 "He that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous"
The world would say ones who go to church and are kind to his neighbors -Some would even say a man who deals fairly with his fellow man
Isaiah 64:6 "All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags"
God says it is a man who does the will of God. Not self righteous, not man’s righteousness but God’s
Col. 2:12-23 A real Christian is a righteous man and a real righteous man is a Christian. He is one who serves God, not self, not the world. 1st John 2:15 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world."
Today’s "Christians" think - go to church, contribute and hire someone to preach and visit. Bible says "all are priests and kings". Matt. 25 All are to visit
Today’s "Christians" see women teachers as good. Bible says women are to be silent in the church. I Cor. 14:34-38; 1 Tim. 2:11-15
Today’s "Christians" don’t have to be baptized - saved before baptized. Bible says we are to be baptized to be saved. Many make this confession and think that are saved " I believe that God for Christ sake has forgiven my sins" Then are baptized. Acts 22:16; 1 Peter 3:21; Acts 2:38; Acts 8:36-38
Today’s "Christians"- baptized all that matters. Bible says NO - must bear fruit. Rom. 6:1-4, 17-18
Rom. 10:14 Acts 2:38
John 8:24 Rom. 6:3-4
Luke 13:3 Rom. 12:1-4
