Man Of God From Judah – Part 2

In 1 Kings 13, the young man of God from Judah had three distinct characteristics:

1) A divine message – a word from God

2) Power and authority to bring God's wrath (Its God’s power and authority)

3) Ability to heal

In this generation, many prophets and evangelists have the word from God and the power to heal, but very few have the power to show God's wrath. In the case of Ananias and Sapphira, Peter had the authority to bring God's wrath (Acts 5).

In 1 Kings 13:4, the young man of God demonstrated God's wrath (King Jeroboam's had withered or shrivelled up), which terrified King Jeroboam and the false priests. The young man of God said that the priests who burned incense to false idols on God’s altar, God will burn their bones on the same altar. It was a death warning to those who did evil on God's altar. The message from the man of God was that - God and His house are holy and revered, and anyone who misuses or dishonours them will face God's wrath.

Where are such men of God in this generation, when many Jeroboam-like leaders are doing so many evil things in God's house and profaning God's name?

When the young man of God displayed God's wrath, it created a tremendous fear in King Jeroboam, false priests, and even the people of the land. The king and his army were helpless and powerless before God's wrath. After this incident, false priests were scared to prophesy or burn incense on God's altars, and people were afraid to worship other gods, do something wrong in God's house, or offer something wrong on God's altar for several days or years. A holy fear or terror might have gripped the people of Israel. Because God's word was accompanied by God's wrath, it brought back the fear of God in people and holy reverence to God and His house.

In these days, God is raising many young men of God who will expose all Jeroboam’s, who are doing things in God’s name and pattern but not to Jehovah God, cleanse the land, and show God’s wrath if needed. These young men of God will bring a word from God, accompanied by God's power to heal and show wrath. There are lot of people who can heal in this land, but now God is raising many people who can demonstrate His wrath. They will show God's wrath against the wrongdoings that are happening in the church. They will go in direct conflict against the wrongdoings in the church.

They will expose all the wrongdoings of the pastors and priests with the word of God, accompanied by God’s wrath. They will demonstrate how God backs up (accompanies) His word with such a great power and authority. All leaders like King Jeroboam and religious organisations will be shaken to the core. A lot of uncalled people are doing the work of God's called people. They will restore the order of service in the church. God's chosen people will be performing a specific work in his house while removing the uncalled. A priest will do what he is supposed to do . A Levite will do what he is supposed to do.

Prophets will be scared to prophesy unless it is from God. Because of God's wrath, people will do everything in God's house and related to God with holy reverence. Everyone will be scared to do wrong things in God’s house because it might attract God's wrath. People will first know God as Holy God and then as a loving God. All Jeroboam’s will be exposed, and a genuine fire will burn in the pulpits.

This generation needs many people like this young man of God who can bring a word from God while simultaneously demonstrating God’s wrath and extinguishing all strange fires burning on God’s altars and pulpits.
