Genesis 5:24

And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [home with Him].

Hebrews 11:5

Because of faith Enoch was caught up and transferred to heaven, so that he did not have a glimpse of death; and he was not found, because God had translated him. For even before he was taken to heaven, he received testimony [still on record] that he had pleased and been satisfactory to God.

14:22 Because all those men who have seen My glory and My [miraculous] signs which I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tested and proved Me these ten times and have not heeded My voice,

14:23 Surely they shall not see the land which I swore to give to their fathers; nor shall any who provoked (spurned, despised) Me see it.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Joshua represents JESUS who lives within me. Caleb represents man's spirits who is the real me.

"But Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh,"

Joshua means "Jehovah saved". That is during our time in the new testament where JESUS is our Savior that already saved us from hell and from sin. Joshua represents the LORD JESUS.

Caleb as a man desires to be something special along with Joshua, so he represents mankind or anyone who joined with the LORD. Also Caleb represents human spirit.

Numbers 14:24

But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it.

Man is a conqueror because he's created in the image of GOD.

Judges 1:20

Hebron was given to Caleb as Moses said, and he expelled from there the three sons of Anak.

If man left by himself without GOD, he will become rough and evil just like Caleb

1 Samuel 25:3

The man’s name was Nabal and his wife’s name was Abigail; she was a woman of good understanding, and beautiful. But the man was rough and evil in his doings; he was a Calebite.

John 15:5

I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.

B. We as one will live together long.

" who were among the men who went to search the land, lived still."

Man thought he's the searcher of GOD, but actually JESUS is the searcher of man.

Romans 3:11

No one understands [no one intelligently discerns or comprehends]; no one seeks out God.

Psalms 14:2

The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any who understood, dealt wisely, and sought after God, inquiring for and of Him and requiring Him [of vital necessity].
