Making a dice decide

“He revealeth the deep and secret things, he knoweth what is in the darkness, and light dwelleth with him” Daniel. 2:22

Flipping a coin and making a dice decide for you is not the way of a Christian, or opening the Bible and keeping your finger on a verse with closed eyes is the way of the spiritually blind, this is the trait of a markedly indecisive person who is unable to make a firm decision. A person who has spent quality time with God and read the Bible meticulously will be able to take firm decisions without any oscillation. Daniel was able to confidently declare “ He revealeth the deep and secret things..” because of his intimate relationship with God. Be it buying a property, marriage decisions, financial decisions, relocation, education, joining the Lord’s ministry, church decisions, whatever, everything should be based on God’s will. No running here and there, but run to the ONLY PERSON who will guide you to still waters and green pastures, His name is JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

Is God in this, will this decision glorify God, will this decision keep me close to God or will this job take me further away from God, so when our decisions revolve around God, He will certainly reveal His will. If your marriage decision is based on outward looks, pay cheque, language skills, qualifications, bank balance and charm then you are a operating in flesh, God is not in this. Look what Paul says: “you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Discernment comes only from a pure mind, if it is contaminated with ugliness, selfishness and spitefulness then your mind is hazy and foggy. Now, these kind of people rely on others, so called godly people to make decisions for them and invariably fall prey to false visions, false dreams and other fables. Dangerous!

Dear child of God, first renew your mind, throw away all envy, malice, anger, and go face down to God and ask Him to reveal His plan for your life.

Apostle Paul said: “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1–2)

If today you are confused with angst and worries, I request you to calm your mind and just surrender the situation into the mighty Hands of God and relax. Hastiness, nastiness, thoughtlessness, impulsiveness, heedlessness is not of God, identify the enemy and stay away from his evil devices.
