Make Room For Me, I Have Come to Sing His Name
HHM 01-19-03 Pastor Jim Parisi
The Power of this Gospel is to shout with our hearts the Glory of the Lord.
Pro claim His coming
We sing to him in songs and praise Him with our voices
Look at the book of Psalms
We call aloud in prayer and psalms… the coming of the Lord
We are called to gather together… one with another like Jesus taught us
We glorify God by being His servants and conforming to His will.
Rom 15: 7-10 7 Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. 8 Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, 9 and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name." 10 And again he says: "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!".
We rejoice together in the Love of Our God
How He still loves us no matter how bad we smell sometimes
This passage speaks of many things but for today It’s Rejoicing with His people
How we are to glorify God together
Yes glorify Him corporately. W
ith the multitudes we are to join to gather as one voice towards God crying out
Holy, Holy, Holy Is the Lord
An army of the Lord praising Him continually
When a upright man cries out to The Lord, He Hears his voice
Ps 34:17 - The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.
How much more when a Devout nation who cries out for The Lord
The Lord wants this nation to cast its old ways aside and cry out
We have gone too far in the other direction
Revival all over the world but not here in America
And again on the brink of war…
What if? Instead of the US heading towards war and confusion
We as a nation got on our knees and praised the Living God
Shouting Father we need you, father we adore you,
Father without you we will be as the dust under the enemy’s feet
What could happen?
We know what will happen if we don’t
Without His blessing and Power we would be as a nation pulverized into the dust of this earth … let’s see
Isa 26:5 For He brings down those who dwell on high, The lofty city; He lays it low, He lays it low to the ground, He brings it down to the dust.
Are we not a High and mighty nation?
Look at the protest rallies this week. Signs of old warnings ahead
Remember Vietnam. Have we bitten of more then God wants us to?
God is particular also at how we use your corporate time too
You can’t build the Kingdome of God in your own name
He will not share the marquee… the headline
He gets all the Credit and glory
Remember the Tower of Babel?
Gen 11: 4 And they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth."
They were making a name for themselves and not HIS ???
Story ….. This is their best with all their talent?
It was a feat in those days to build that structure
How sorry are we. We don’t use our best to build His Kingdome?
Heaven is a place where all creation is Crying out in one voice to the Lord
Rev 5:11 11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!" 13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"
All creation cries out for his glory
Unity is needed to get the job done…
Psalm 133: 1 A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
Our one year anniversary.. Harvest House is One year old..
We are blessed not that we are special BUT
