Imagine you're starving, and you have a choice between a candy bar and a healthy meal. The candy bar might taste good for a moment, but it won't fill you up or give you the nutrients you need. That's like choosing the world's temporary pleasures over God's lasting love.

Fix the Craving

We often crave stuff that's here today, gone tomorrow, and not really what God wants for us. Like, we might chase after popularity or try to find happiness in all the wrong places. But that stuff won't make us truly happy. God wants to help us crave His love instead.

Discover God's Love

When we find God, we find real love. The world's love is all about earning it. But God's love? It's unconditional. He loves us, warts and all. His love is forever, not like the stuff that comes and goes.

It's a Daily Choice

Following Jesus isn't a one-and-done deal. It's a daily decision. Every day, we're tempted to put our wants before God. We gotta line up our choices and actions with what God says and live like we're on His team.

Think about your daily choices. Are you choosing the candy bar or the healthy meal? Are you choosing temporary happiness or God's lasting love? This week, try to make one decision each day that shows you're choosing God's love.

Let's pray together

God, help us to crave Your love more than anything else. Help us to choose You every day, even when it's hard. Thank you for loving us no matter what. Amen.
