Love So Amazing So Divine

Proposition: You must receive the love of Christ!

I. Because of the greatness of it!

A. It paid the greatest price! Revelation 1:5 – His own blood

B. It is the greatest amount! John 15:9 – Father’s love for the Son

II. Because of the guarantee of it!

A. It is not dependent upon circumstances! Romans 8:35-39

B. It is forever! Ephesians 5:29,30 – We are flesh and bones with Jesus.

III. Because of the great need of it!

A. It brings great peace! John 14:27

B. It brings great joy! John 15:9-12 abiding in His love as He abides in the Father

IV. Because of the growth obtained by it!

A. It brings discernment plus! Ephesians 3:17-19

B. It brings strength! Hebrews 2:17-18 – the strength as given from a mother to a child.

V. Because of the great loss by rejecting!

A. To the Lost it means despair! Ephesians 2:11,12 – no hope

B. To the Saved it means disorientation! 2 Timothy 1:17 – fear, weakness, unsound mind.
