Love No Matter What

Youth Group Plan: Love No Matter What (1 John 4:7-21)

Youth Sermon: Love No Matter What

God is love. Full stop.

John, one of Jesus' best buds, tells us that God is love. It's not just something He does, it's who He is. Everything God does is because He loves us. And guess what? He loves us no matter what, and He loves everyone else too.

God is love. It's not just something He does, it's who He is.

Love is always the right answer.

John wants us to love others just like God loves us. It's not always easy, but it's always possible because it comes from God. We can choose to respond with love, even when we're feeling grumpy or annoyed.

Reacting vs. Responding: When something happens, our first reaction might be to get mad or upset. But we can control how we respond. We can choose to respond with love, even if our first reaction is to roll our eyes or yell.

Love no matter what.

When we love each other, it shows that God is with us. We should love God, our friends, our family, and even that annoying kid in math class. By loving each other, we show that we're followers of Jesus.

So, what does this mean for you? Well, next time you're about to snap at your little brother or ignore that new kid at school, remember the never-ending bag of candy. You've got an endless supply of love to share. Don't be afraid to love too much, because God's love for you will never run out.
