Look At Jesus, Not The Numbers

Topic: LOOK AT JESUS, NOT THE NUMBERS

Acts 16:11-15 King James Version (KJV)

11 Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;

12 And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.

13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

14 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

15 And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.

Beloved, most times when we carry the Gospel of Grace out there to preach, the message is designed for a few people amongst the lot or sometimes just one person.

Some people get discouraged when they don't get huge numbers paying attention to them or are not able to win quite a number of people for Jesus when they share the Gospel.

Don't let numbers determine your decision to go on or stop. Don't let numbers be your motivation.

Let the Master be your motivation, by knowing that He decides who to win and who not to win. He decides who the Gospel is for on the day you preach. You don't decide, the congregation also, does not decide, only Jesus does.

He does what He wants, so don't allow numbers to discourage you. Sometimes if only we could see or hear of how that one person is moving with the Gospel and winning millions everyday for Jesus we would know we have done what He wants us to do.

Anybody we evangelize to and He accepts Jesus becomes a product of us, and when they go out there to evangelize, all the souls they win indirectly are products of us so whether we go out there to win huge numbers or the one we win goes out there to win the huge numbers it's still the same thing. Souls have been won for Jesus.

It's one Jesus, one Kingdom: no matter who wins the largest number of souls, we all have contributed according to His Grace upon us and the assignment He has given to us.

No matter what you do, it doesn't matter the numbers, what matters is Jesus' plan for you. What He is saying about what you do and why He is giving you the numbers you see.

If you would only encounter one person to make it and Jesus has designed it so, then so shall it be. If you have to meet many and flow amongst many and that is His will, so shall it be.

Don't look at numbers to be discouraged, Just look at Jesus to be encouraged.

Beloved, *ITS ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Just look to Jesus and do your work according to His plan and you will see unending success and victory throughout your life.

Prayer: Father please help me to look at Jesus alone and move on. I don't want to look at the numbers and get discouraged. May your name O! Father be glorified and praised in the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
