Summary: A message that will show how we lock up the memories of our past and allow them to prohibit us from moving foreward.

Locked Up In Your Memory

Genesis 16: 1-3

They set out from Elim, and all the congregation of the people of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they had departed from the land of Egypt. 2 And the whole congregation of the people of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness, 3 and said to them, “Would that we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the fleshpots and ate bread to the full; for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

Back in the day there were many influential secular artists that wrote songs regarding memories of different things, people and places. Locked up in their memory was the remnants of their past predicaments, circumstances, and situations that could not be unleashed because these were the things that kept them in the pursuit for happiness; the sad reality about this entire scenario is that these very things were invading their psychological premises, and as a result, they were not permitted to move to their predetermined position of purposed.

How many of us today live in the same world? Live in a world, whereby we are being fought in our minds by the memories of yesterday’s predicaments, circumstances and situations? How many of us are locked up in our memory until the spirit does not even have access?

The spirit is: 1) Attitude 2) Mood 3) Response

Let’s be clear; the mind is the center of intellectual framework; therefore, when there is conflict within our mind contrary to the norm that should provoke us to investigating the fact that there is a possibility of a potential threat. When there is a threat that’s locked up in your memory, it normally impersonates itself as the truth, leading you to believe that whatever is hindering you is perfectly ordinary, nonetheless, it is our responsibility to detach ourselves from these elements so that they don’t devour us; furthermore, we have to create a resolution that will get us on the pathway of freedom.

This is the year that we let go of all of our past predicaments, circumstances and situations that are locked up in our memory. This the year that God redeems the time we have lost over things, people and places. This is the year that we see supernatural increase. This is the year that the memories

Locked up in our mind are set free and we walk in an abundant life now and forever. Amen
