Summary: Living victorious over the enemy.
Living Victorious....
With everything that goes on in our everyday life we might ask ourselves how will we ever fulfill Gods purpose.
Temptation and trouble is all around us.
Before we can fulfill Gods purpose and be victorious over the temptation and troubles, you have to know who you are.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
You have to put your trust in The Lord. Rise up to the moment.
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
When you trust The Lord nothing seems impossible.
You can walk in victory.
1Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
You don't have to walk with your head down and surcome to your environment or everything around you because you have the victory.
The environment shouldn't change you, you should change the environment.
The devil likes it when we walk in defeat, he knows that our trust and faith in God is slim to none and we are ineffective.
Ephesians 3:20-21 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,. 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
With God being capable and us being available, all things are possible.
Like I said before God is wanting to take His body to a new level, into something greater.
That's why we can't look at everything going on around us.
When we do look at everything else we are telling God we don't trust Him and He isn't able.
Can God take care of every situation Himself, sure. Will He, no.
He wants to work through us. We are a team.
1Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
He isn't going to work through you if you don't trust Him and your in constant defeat.
David had problems but he didn't focus on them, he kept his hope.
He praised God.
Psalms 71:14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
Psalms 98:1 O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
David had issues and struggles like the rest of us:
He had bumps in the road.
He had battles.
He had failures.
He had faults and flaws.
He had hard times.
He fell to adultery and murder.
BUT he learned to live in praise and that is one successful key to living victorious.
Praise builds us up and moves the hand of God..
Acts 16:25-26 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.
Some of you are at your midnight hour and some suddenly's are about to take place.
I hear the sound of some prison doors opening.
I hear the sound of chains and shackles falling off.
I hear the sound of a mighty rushing wind carrying all the blessings that God has for you.
I hear the sound of the devils laughter turning into screams of fear.
I hear the sound of Heaven rejoicing.
It's time to start living victorious.
You can’t let the things going on around you determine your outcome.
You need to start looking at the promise and not the problem.
Peter was looking at Jesus when he got out of the boat and began to walk on the water. When he saw the trouble around him he began to sink.
It's no different today with you. You can't look at everything else, only Jesus.
You have to know that God is Faithful.
Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Everyday is a new day, give it all to Jesus and watch God work.
