Main thought: God will reveal to his people, that which he desires to carry out

Text: "Where there is no vision, the people perish… (Proverbs 29:18, KJV)

A. Where there is no vision, the people perish

1. Where there is no seeing as God sees, you perish- not die, but wonder without purpose

B. God’s Spirit is desiring to lead us to God and show us what the father sees

1. God is not desiring to keep his secrets to himself. He wants his children to get his heart. The only was to do that is to show them and tell them his heart

a. "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." (1 Corinthians 2:9, KJV)

Hath prepared- word picture is the kings sending on ahead, men to clear paths and provide the lodging.

Just as the Secret Service doers for the President

"But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God."

(1 Corinthians 2:10, KJV)

Hath revealed- 601, apokaluìptō

Literally, to remove a veil or covering exposing to open view what was before hidden. Particularly applied to supernatural revelation

Searches- inquires, seeks out, investigates

All things- the totality of the matter, the big, the little, the insignificant

Deep things- the things well below the surface. Deep under. Things that only his Spirit knows about.

There are things about you I do not know. I can live with you a lifetime and things I don’t know.

The Sprit will reveal of God, the things regular people will never know.
