Jesus said to Pilate: John 18:36 My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

The kingdom of God has always been built around people who are struggling through

spiritual issues,

life issues

going to the Lord

It’s not meant to be in a microwave mindset

Snap your finger, type in your question and there it is

That is not the way the kingdom of God works

We are driven,

The desire for happiness

The desire for comfort

for sex. for food,

and many others desires that shape us

and dictate our decisions

one of the strongest desires inside every human being is the desire for knowledge we have the unprecedented ability to indulge in any information we want

modern man has access to an almost limitless amount of information

And we don’t even have to get out of bed to get it

this limitless progress makes it all attainable for us

But at what price?

especially when almost all of it is coming

from a world of lies

Today we are surrounded by mass media

we live in very confusing, perplexing times

the issues that is facing us

seem to be coming quickly

and with such intensity

things like the coronavirus virus

Alarming tensions about injustice

these are very unsettling to people

and so we spend a lot of time

trying to keep up-to-date

with what we should know

to make sense of the world we are living in

Let’s face it

the news is just another form of entertainment

when you have a TV show you want people to watch

because the higher your ratings the more you can sell your advertising

so, the way the news keeps people coming back

is constantly putting big stories that titillate your senses

and get you excited

so, you know all these big things are happening in the cultured

think about the realities of what’s happening in the world

some of these things are NOT big stories!

ILLS: Think about hurricanes:

the constant reporting of what might happen….Brings fear

This corporate Consciousness

Is being established and run by a newspapers and/or media outlets

They are trying to control your mindset

Let’s look back into the unseen realm for a minute

you’ve got the kingdom of God

with the culture of kingdom living that is involved there

and then you have the kingdom of the world

with Its culture and attitude/mindset of living

Christian who should be all about the kingdom of God

Is instead in the mindset of this world’s corporate consciousness

that is established by the kingdom of THIS World

they are taking their attention

and their hearts and their minds off of God’s kingdom

and getting them all into the kingdom of this world the devil is creating

We are being drawn away from the things of God

into this whole drama

that the news organizations are pushing

All of this, is taking us away from the things of God

1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

- The love of God and the love of earthly things are NOT compatible.

If you give place to the love of the world,

the love of God cannot dwell in you;

and if you have not His love,

you can have no peace, no holiness, no heaven.

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Simply put, love for the world is NOT compatible with love for the Father.

Therefore, if you claim to love God

and yet love the world,

there is something wrong with your claim to love God.

I agree, cigarette smoking

Drinking, drugs,

Rioting in the streets, lawlessness, backstabbing, lying, false accusations

are all terrible.

BUT, it’s all coming from a temporal perspective

the bigger issue is;
