Summary: "What I see happening in Atlanta is not Atlanta. This is not a protest. This is not in the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. This is chaos."- Atlanta Mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms 5/29/20
LIVING in a WORLD of CHAOS - We are living in a very troubling time in the world. In March of 2016 the Lord showed me that the atmosphere of our world had dramatically changed. The world conditions escalated from confusion to chaos. In recent days this has been confirmed by the events in many countries of the world. Tragically, things must often get worse before they can get better. This is sad, but necessary in order to convince us of our need of the Lord.
What does God's Word say about chaos - “The nations are in chaos, and their kingdoms crumble! God’s voice thunders, and the earth melts!” (Psalm 46:6 NLB) “The city of chaos is broken down; Every house is shut up so that none may enter.” (Isaiah 24:10 NAS) “LORD, I have heard the report about you. LORD, I fear your work. In the course of the years, renew it. In the course of the years, reveal it. In all this chaos, remember to be merciful.” (Habakkuk 3:2 GWT)
Turn to the Lord in your chaos - Let us pray that God will use these chaotic circumstances to reveal Himself as the sole Source and Solution to all of our problems. And pray that many will turn to Jesus Christ to find peace and protection amidst the chaotic conditions that are upon us. Where the Lord God Almighty reigns there is order, peace, and stability but where man reigns chaos abounds. Yet, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Christ! And since the Lord Jesus Christ is our Shepherd we fear no evil. Hallelujah!!! Dr. Lewis Gregory 5/30/20
