FRIDAY

Living above anxiety

Main text: Luke 21:34

And take heed to yourself lest at anytime your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.

Anxiety, worry and tension are some of the most destructive forces we face each day in our lives. They sap our strength and slowly undermine our faith, keeping us from maturing in the lord (luke8:14).If you are to grow in your relationship with Jesus, you must discover God's plan for your freedom from the crippling cycle of stress.

Anxiety, worry and tension occur when we face situations and choose to rely upon our own strength rather than upon God and His word. By doing this, we are actually engaging in a subtle form of idolatry. In other words, we should learn to trust God alone.

It is God’s desire for us His children to be absolutely free from worry. Jesus said “come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest “Matt 11:28, but to enter that rest, we have to cut off stress. Jesus confronted anxiety in (matt6:25-34), He tells us to imagine how God feeds the birds of the air and arrays the lilies of the field. How much more will He care for His children?

As we grow in our understanding of God's love for us, we realize that nothing in this world can separate us from His love.(Rom8:38,39), no financial burden, family crisis, jobless situation, nothing in the past nor in future because He cares so deeply for us, we can cast our cares upon him.

Jesus remains our burden lifter because we don't have that power, so make sure you do not in any way try to pack loads upon yourself when Jesus knows how to do that and do it very well. Imagine that you have a load carrier before you for free to anywhere and distance you need to go, then suddenly you pack your entire luggage to your head and stagger and fall many times while the load carrier is still waiting for you to use. Beloved, you have tried these years to carry issues, today please use Jesus Christ and get to your desired destination in good time.

CAST ALL YOUR PROBLEMS ON HIM, HE LIKES TO DO IT
