Summary: See how the Bible teaches us to live a life of no limitations
WALK IN THE SPIRIT
(Living life with no limitations)
Galatians 5:16,18,25 – Walk in the spirit and you will not fulfill the desires of the Flesh. If you walk in the Spirit, you are not under the Law (No Limits) If the Spirit gave us life let us walk in the Spirit or let us walk in a life of no limitations.
When you talk about walking in the spirit you are talking about Freedom.
Freedom from the past. The moment we are born again, we step out of the old life, into the new life, we come into a world of no limits. You are a new creation; old things are passed away all things are new. Which means everything you did in the past is gone. Everything is washed away by the blood of Jesus. Everything is removed from your record.
Heb. 8:12 – I will not remember their sins. Not cannot but will not.
Walking in the spirit means my past is gone. My future is bright.
I am walking in a world that has no limitations.
The flesh has limits, but the spirit has no limits. Say, No limits, Say again, No Limits. You have to receive and believe that in your spirit.
You cannot believe they are limits. There are only limits in the flesh,
no limits in the spirit.
1 Cor. 3:21-22 – For all things are yours.
All things – Eternity, All of God’s blessings, Total Freedom. (No limits)
It is life changing if you understand this truth. All things are yours in life,
or death, present or future all things are yours. Note He never mention the past, because the past is erased, it’s gone. Now that is a great promise.
1 Cor. 3:23 - And you are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
All things are yours. Everything Jesus has is mine. Everything Jesus walks in you walk in. (No limitations) There is no record of your past life. All your past has been canceled. It is not about an old life it is about a new life. I have to start thinking with my new way of thinking.
Say all things are mine, in life, or death, present or future. (No limits) That is what it means to walk in the spirit. You walk in a world that has no limitations. You walk in the promises of God. The promises of God is what I live for, I live in, I walk in. Our walk of faith has no past reference. When you go to apply for a loan to buy a car or a house they always check your past. But in the spirit no past. No past record to pull from.
All we have to do is be born again and start obeying God and living the new life that God has given us.
When we look at the past we are acting on feelings. Faith does not look at the past it looks at the present and future. Past is emotions, when we feel guilty about what we did. That is past emotions. Faith is in the now not past. Faith relies on the Promises of God.
Ex. 14 – The Children of Israel saw the Sea before them and the army behind them. Moses did not see the army or the sea he saw God. He saw the promises, the covenant of God. He stretched out his rod and walked into the promises of God. The flesh sees the limits. The spirit No Limits.
Num. 13 – Twelve spies… Ten saw giants and said we cannot go there… Joshua and Caleb didn’t see giants they saw God and said it is a good land and we can go. Walking in the spirit you see God not the situation.
Daniel 3 – S.M.A they did not see the Firey Furnace they saw God.
Daniel 6 – Daniel did not see the Lions Den, He saw God.
Romans 8:1 - There is therefore now no condemnation (No Limits) to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Galatians 5: 22-23 - The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control: against such there is no law. (No Limits)
Praise the Lord for a life with no limitations!
