Living A Holy Life 1

Summary: Attempts to reveal all the activities that cause unholiness and shows how holy-living can be enforced in one’s life when it seems difficult to remain holy.
Just as people look forward to receiving their salaries at the end of the month for refreshment or revivification, so also witchcraft agents expect that their victims will commit a sin that will prosper evil manipulation against their life. In other words, any sin you commit refreshes, waters, or revives the serpent, especially fornication (“This is the will of God that you should be holy: you MUST abstain from fornication”―1 Thessalonians 4:3). Witchcraft activities have increased so much that holiness cannot be discussed thoroughly without looking at witchcraft. Why? Because, for instance, with just a soft to moderately hard touch with the finger, elbow etc. or intentional rubbing of their upper arm /shoulder against yours in the pretext of searching for something in their bag while sitting next to you, the agents can quickly transfer demonic deposits that emit the worst kind of strong lustful desires, or cause instant sleep to their victims. Those who are spiritually alert will know about this kind of attack. Remember the warning that we should “watch and pray, lest we enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”— Matthew 26:41; the last part of the quotation, i.e. the ’flesh being weak’, is not for making an excuse for us to tolerate lustful desires, rather it is a veritable information which arms us with wisdom, namely to flush out with prayer (silent or audible) such satanic deposit in your body by commanding to come out. Some may require up to five minutes issuing the command while some deposits would self-eject instantly; it all depends on various factors. Weak flesh implies that deposits may or may not enter the body, but letting them stay is a dangerous disservice to your own body!
If you still commit sexual immorality (fornication, masturbation, pornography etc.) once in a while, say, once a month, then something is wrong somewhere and your household enemies (relatives who appear harmless but are experts at setting witchcraft traps) or your harmful associates still have a fertile ground to do spiritual business in your life! You must climb up using the 100%-holiness ladder; the 98%-holiness ladder is not good enough especially in these dangerous times—“But know this that, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will ….” (2 Timothy 3:1-2). Satan and his agents will use the slightest sin against any special branch of the vine (John 15:5). Remember Revelation 12:10, “…. for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God DAY and NIGHT.” Having known this, we should also live holy, day and night day in, day out to match action for action!
Any sin committed by us against our body is enough for dark powers to regain any ground they had lost in trying to control our success. The more you defile the body, the more they regain ground and stop further achievement. Your obedience has to be complete! When there is abundance of wealth, it may be difficult to detect that the devourer is already at work decimating the funds. Sinning against the temple of the Holy Spirit—which is your body—even once in a year is dangerous; the demons and human agents of Satan around you want to see that the sin is committed at the edge of your biggest breakthrough for the year so that damages can be unleashed. The higher you go in abiding by the word, the more you should strive to overcome the enemy of your soul. 1 Corinthians 6:9 says, “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites.”
When you are tempted to commit sexual immorality, always immediately ask yourself, “is this thing I want to do a decent act? Is it proper? If the answer is no, then say to yourself, “I will not do this thing it is indecent and improper.” Either you have to leave the place at that instant, that is change company momentarily so as to kill that scene or you fix your thought on what the Lord Jesus is doing at the temple in Heaven—interceding for different sets of souls with different sets of needs. That is a way to discipline yourself with self-control. Always follow proper conduct. Remember without holiness you will not see God!—Hebrews 12:14. And if anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are (1 Corinthians 3:17). 1 Peter 1:13-17 shows that we should ever be conscious of holy living and "pass the time of your sojourning here in fear." YOU MAY USE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO RETURN TO GOD IN REPENTANCE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST; SAY THIS PRAYER, “O GOD IN HEAVEN, I REJECT AND RENOUNCE THE POWER OF SIN AND UNHOLY LIVING. LORD JESUS COME INTO MY HEART; I CONFESS ALL MY SINS (DO SO) AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS. ANOINT ME WITH THE POWER TO LIVE HOLY AND TO PROSPER, IN JESUS NAME!
