VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Please the LORD in every way

"That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things,"

1. How to please GOD?

a. in our prayers

Proverbs 15:8 (Amplified Bible)

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination, hateful and exceedingly offensive to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight!

b. faith

Hebrews 11:6 (Amplified Bible)

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

c. in our actions - lean and rest on CHRIST

CHRIST JESUS have pleased GOD, the FATHER always in us.

John 8:29 (Amplified Bible)

And He Who sent Me is ever with Me; My Father has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him.

d. live as children of light

Ephesians 5:8-10 (Amplified Bible)

For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [lead the lives of those native-born to the Light].

For the fruit (the effect, the product) of the Light or the Spirit [consists] in every form of kindly goodness, uprightness of heart, and trueness of life.

And try to learn [in your experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [let your lives be constant proofs of what is most acceptable to Him].

e. obey your parents in everything

Colossians 3:20 (Amplified Bible)

Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing to the Lord.

f. pray for everyone

1 Timothy 2:1-3 (Amplified Bible)

FIRST OF all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men,

For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.

For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior,

g. obey His commands

1 John 3:22 (Amplified Bible)

And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him.

It's so easy to please GOD, it all starts by our faith towards Him. It's impossible to please men, so stop trying but in every way, please GOD. Be an audience of one.

B. Bearing fruit in every good work

"bearing fruit in every good work"

John 15:16 (Amplified Bible)

You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], He may give it to you.
