Waiting on God and moving when He tells us is a sign of obedience. He blesses those that are sensitive to His guidance and accomplishing what He desires for our lives.

Introduction

In times of trouble and uncertainty, we often find ourselves waiting on God for answers, guidance, and breakthroughs. It can be challenging to trust in His timing and direction, but when we do, we experience His blessings and fulfillment in our lives. Today, we will explore the importance of waiting on God and moving in obedience to His leading.

Isaiah 40:28-31 (NIV)

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Trusting in the Everlasting God

Our God is not limited by time or circumstances. He is the everlasting God, the Creator of all things. Unlike us, He does not grow tired or weary. We can find comfort in knowing that He is always watching over us and working on our behalf.

God's Higher Ways

We must recognize that God's thoughts and ways are far beyond our own. His wisdom surpasses our understanding, and His plans are greater than what we can comprehend. Instead of trying to figure everything out on our own, we should trust in His higher ways and surrender our own limited perspectives.

Putting Our Hope in the Lord

When we place our hope in the Lord, we are acknowledging that He is our ultimate source of strength and guidance. We can rely on Him to renew our strength when we feel weary and weak. By trusting in Him, we can rise above our circumstances and soar like eagles.

Waiting on God

Waiting on God requires patience and faith. It means surrendering our own desires and timelines, and instead, aligning ourselves with His perfect will. Waiting on God does not mean being passive; it means actively seeking His guidance and direction while trusting that He will lead us in the right way.

Moving in Obedience

While waiting on God, we must also be ready to move when He tells us to. Obedience is a sign of our trust and faith in Him. When we are sensitive to His guidance and obedient to His commands, He blesses us and enables us to accomplish what He desires for our lives.

Conclusion

In our journey with God, there will be times of waiting and times of moving. Both are essential for our growth and development. As we wait on God, let us trust in His everlasting nature and higher ways. And when He calls us to move, let us do so in obedience, knowing that He will strengthen us and guide us every step of the way. May we soar on wings like eagles, run without growing weary, and walk without fainting, as we put our hope in the Lord.
