LISTEN TO YOUR CONSCIENCE

Be convicted by your own conscience.

John 8: 9And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

We are going to look at 7 ways the conscience acts in us as humans.

1. An evil conscience

Hebrews 10: 22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

2. A convicting conscience

John 8: 9And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

3. A purged conscience

Hebrews 9: 14How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

4. A good conscience

Acts 23: 1And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.

5. A pure conscience

1st Timothy 3: 9Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

6. A weak conscience

1st Corinthians 8: 12But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.

7. A seared conscience

1st Timothy 4: 1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
