*When living for Christ we MUST live deliberate lives

* We cannot afford to live haphazardly, or spur of the moment

b. We are the temple of God

c. We must build our lives as a monument to him

2) A deliberate life is one we might have to live alone

a. 1 Kings 18:21-22

b. Elijah thought he was the last of Gods people

c. Sometimes we stand together, but sometimes we must stand alone

3) A deliberate life is one lived under submission

a. 1 Cor. 9:27

b. We must be subject to Christ

c. True subjection is a deliberate act

4) A deliberate life is one that we prepare for

a. 2 Tim. 2:15 – 2 Tim. 4:2

b. we must be deliberate in setting apart time to prepare our lives

5) A deliberate life is a sacrificial life

a. Romans 12:1

b. Some things will be harder than others

c. Sometimes we just wont want to

6) A deliberate life is on that is steadfast

a. 1 Cor. 15:58

b. be unmovable in all things pertaining to Christ

c. we must hold fast to the gospel and at the same time give it away

The way that we live reflects who we are, there must be much thought and anticipation involved in how we conduct our selves day to day. If Christ truly is in us, than those around us truly should see him.
