Hello church! Welcome to another Sunday morning celebration. We are here today because of Jesus Christ and what He has done for us. He is whom we have been singing about and He is who we are going to learn more about today. If this is your very first time here, you picked a good Sunday. We are starting a brand-new sermon series called, “Glow In The Dark.”
It’s no secret our world is living in darkness. You can turn on your favorite news channel at pretty much any given point and all you see is darkness, evil, hate, crime, and the list goes on and on. The reality is this: we live in a broken world, filled with broken people.

Today, in view of the darkness you see around you or you have in your own life, I want to tell you about a light. This light is talked about throughout the Bible, but specifically I want to take you to one verse in the Gospel of John. Turn with me to John 8. Jesus has just finished a profound series of events, where He commands a woman caught in adultery to “go and sin no more.” Maybe this is the very thing you already sense God saying to you today. I want you to know this is not condemnation. Rather, it is a feeling of conviction. But, after this scene plays out, here’s what Jesus says in verse 12…
