Summary: In our lives we think that we are in control and the world would have us believe that it is our life and we can live it like we want too. However it’s not what God has intended for us.

Introduction

In our lives we think that we are in control and the world would have us believe that it is our life and we can live it like we want too.

However it’s not what God has intended for us.

We are created for His pleasure.

We are His children in which he takes great pleasure in.

As a Christian we have all been called to be ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

So as an individual how do we play out our part in God’s plan?

Scripture

You think you already have everything you need!

You are already rich!

Without us you have become kings!

I wish you really were on your thrones already, for then we would be reigning with you!

9But sometimes I think God has put us apostles on display, like prisoners of war at the end of a victor’s parade, condemned to die.

We have become a spectacle to the entire world—to people and angels alike.

10Our dedication to Christ makes us look like fools, but you are so wise!

We are weak, but you are so powerful!

You are well thought of, but we are laughed at.

1 Corinthians 4:8-10

Paul speaks of leadership.

It seems God has put us on a stage of a theater in which no one wants to buy a ticket.

Paul says in chapter 2 that he has resolved to know nothing but Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

You have been put on the stage to make the star Jesus Christ.

• God is the director.

• The stage is the world.

• The script is The Word of God.

• The plot is the redemptive blood of Christ.

• The curtain is the closing of life.

The questions to answer this morning is:

• Who’s directing your life?

• How is your life playing out?

• What script do you read to influence your life?

• Do you know what the real plot in life is?

• Are you prepared for the curtain to come down?
