Life, Death And Eternity

Life, Death and Eternity. Questions have been brought up about the eternal question, how are the dead raised, and is there a life after death? How do we as Ministers and Christians answer the eternal question of resurection? Many people today have been orented into a beliefe of no after life or resurection because of false religions. We are in a constant battle against the antichristian beliefe of being risen as Jesus was raised. In 1st Corinthians ,Paul makes a statement in Chapter 15:32.......let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.He was useing this statement figureitvly to answer those that didnt believe in an afterlife. If Jesus had not raised then the Bible tells us that, we are of all men , most misirable. Do we as Christians argue the fact of our beliefe in resurection? No, we are Christians because of our faith in the scriptures, we present the facts and let God deal with the rest. You cant force people into believeing in the Bible, no matter what you do. The scripture is spiritually decerned. A lot of Young Ministers and other Christians make the mistake of trying to go out and save the world, and end up getting hurt. So then how do we answer the questions about the resurection? The Bible states, that when a man thinks that he knows something, then he knows nothing. We dont tell them opinion, we dont tell them what we think, we dont tell them what we feel, we quote the scripture and let them make their own mind up. The Holy Spirit of God is the one who deals with the individual. Jesus had his work to do and when he finished, he turned the rest of the work over to the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 15:35, But some man will say, How are the dead raised up?and with what body do they come? Paul was getting agravated at some here because of their foolish questions, they were trying to beget strife within the church. His answer, Thou Fool,.... What is a fool? The dictionary tells us that a fool is, to be stupid,impious,silly, a moral blockhead . Not very nice is it? But sometimes you hafe to call the kittle black, to get the attention of evil spirits trying to downgrade the Gospil.Paul said, I am set for the defence of the Gospil of Jesus Christ. Why do we hafe to defend it? Because of the deceptive power of Satan to destroy scripture in removeing or adding a single word to it. The scriptures tells us that we shall be raised as Jesus was raised and we believe it by faith. Remember when you first came to Jesus? What was it that caused you to believe? Was it the cross,teachings,the trial,the burial or was it because of his resurection? For me it was all the above. Christianity is the only religion that assures a resurected body after this life is over. Now there is a nother faction of so called christians that are becomming popular that say that eating meat is unchrist like, that we should honour God and not eat meat, and a nother one that says that we are in Christ kingdom now, on this earth and the rapture has allready taken place, these are deceptions that are belittling Gods word. Just as in Pauls days, they are trying to confuse the truth with a lie. If it wernt for the promise of resurection and if Jesus didnt come out of that tomb, we would, like the scripture says, would be a misirable people.With no hope and no joy. In this life we are bombarded with many different views of scripture and some say that, they dont know what to believe any more. Its sad that people cant take the Bible for what it says and believe, that if we follow Jesus we shall never die and if we die, we shall live again. Life is an existance, brought about by God for His good pleasure, Death is a reliese of this body back to the dust of the earth from which it came and Eternity is the domaine in which we will recieve the rewards for what we did in this life, weather good or evil. So what is, Life, Death and Eternity? Its the circle of life that was created by God to return us back to the creator of all things. Our spirit, soul and body all have been created by God for His Good pleasure and as a reprensentation of His eternal being. Is there an after life?, Yes, Jesus promised us that there was. He said , In My Fathers House there are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you... just think, if there are many mansions in Gods house, consider the awsome size of Gods kingdom. If there was no after life, then we wouldnt have any reason for being christians. The Bible teaches as much about Hell as it does about Heavan, it gives us a reason to believe. A man once asked the question, Where have all the preachers gone? After a while, I understood it, He was talking about the Hell fire and brimstone sermons that brought peoples minds back to the alternitive of not serving God. The type of sermon that gave people the beliefe in an afterlife, raiseing their consiousness to a higher levil, makeing then know for a fact that christian or sinner, that there is a price to pay or a reward to recieve after this life has ended. The type of sermon that brought many to the alter, crying out to God for forgiveness. How do we answer the question of the resurection, how about, Because Jesus said so. I believe by faith in Jesus, to the Glory of the Father, unto ever lasting life. This prayer should help to relieve doubt in your mind.... Father, I come to you in the name of thy Son Jesus, who gave his life for me that I may have life. I believe Father, help my unbeliefe.Forgive me of my short commings, that I may help those that are less fortunet and be able to help the weak in spirit. Forgive me of any sins that I may have committed and let my life be a light to the world. Gloryfy thy name and thy kingdom, for thou art worthy of all prase ,honour and glory. Let thy will be done in my life and the life of my family, I place all that I am in thy hands. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. ars.
