Committing Humanity to Trust and Obedience

• Be fruitful and multiply (Positive)

• Banned from eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (Negative)

Celebrating Life in Family and Society

• Community – No man is an island: …it is not good for the man to be alone (2:18a)

• Sexuality – Different by Design: …I will make him a helper suitable to him… (2:18b)

• Parenting to Empower: leaving his father and mother…(2:24a)

• Sex in Marriage, God’s idea: …united to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh (2:24b)

• Transparency: …naked, and they felt no shame (2:25)
