Promises and Time Management

You might be thinking, "What does Jesus know about my crazy schedule? He didn't have to deal with school, homework, sports, social media, and everything else I've got going on." But here's the thing, Jesus totally gets it. He had people pulling him in all directions, but he still managed to keep his promises and find quiet time.

Let's talk about promises. You know when you say you'll do something, but then you forget or just don't do it? Jesus said, "Let your yes be yes, and your no be no." Basically, if you say you're going to do something, do it.

Imagine you're juggling. Each ball represents a promise you've made. The more balls you add, the harder it gets to keep them all in the air. Eventually, you're going to drop one. That's like when we make too many promises and can't keep them all. It causes stress and anxiety.

Jesus said, "Let your yes be yes, and your no be no."

Dealing with Noise and Distractions

Now, let's talk about noise. We live in a world full of distractions. It's like trying to study in the middle of a rock concert. It's hard to focus, right? Jesus often went to quiet places to pray and listen to God. We can do the same.

Try setting aside some quiet time each day. Turn off your phone, find a quiet spot, and just be still. Use this time to pray, read the Bible, or just think.

Key Points from Jesus on Managing Our Time

So, to wrap up, we've got three main points from Jesus on managing our time: 1. Start with the Word 2. Keep your promises 3. Find some quiet time

Remember, Jesus loves you just as you are. You don't have to earn his love. But because we're loved, we want to make the most of our time and do what God wants us to do.
