Summary: This sermon deals with having unity in the body of Christ.

Righteous Living: (Phil.4:9)

I know what you are thinking. Somebody saying aint none of us perfect. And you are right. But it don’t stop you from trying to live according to what Paul told us in the 8th verse. “Righteous Living” is a necessary condition for experiencing the peace of God. Paul balances four activities: “learned and received” and “heard and seen.” In other words, we must learn the Word, receive the word, hear the word and do the word. The peace of God is one test of whether of not we are in the will of God. If we are walking with the Lord, then the peace of God will exercise His influence over your heart. I’ve told you that in order for “Us to Pull together” We must have: Righteous Praying, Righteous Thinking and Righteous Living.

Conclusion:

Once we have these three things then we can say that I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I’m able to pull together because I know God is the author and finisher of my faith. I’m able to pull together because He is the center of my joy. Some call him the Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Rose of Sharon, the Bright and Morning Star, He’s my redeemer, my comforter, my guide. But most of all he’s my Savior. What’s his name “Jesus” I come to tell you Let Us Pull Together as one body in Christ Jesus. Do you know Jesus the one who died for you.
