Summary: Are you listening for the trumpet to sound?

LET,S STIR THIS PLACE UP

2nd Peter 1:13Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

We have set around long enough with folded hands; with a clod defeated spirit. Its time to get stirred up

And get busy for our Lord , while we have time and opportunity. We need to get stirred up.

1. The saviour that leads the way

Acts 19:23And the same time there arose no small stir about that way.

Excited every day ,week, hour its great to be saved.

Exuberant happy ,joyful praising his name

Experience new blessings each day

2. Salvation that’s life giving and wonderful

2Tim.1:6Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

Eternal life not part time, patched up but eternal

Enjoyable life, not dead ,dull, defeated, but living life.

Exciting life in witnessing and reaching others for Christ

3.Sins that leaves multitudes total wrecks

Some teaching that are morons

Professional crooks in field of religion deceiving millions

Critics making fun of the Word of God “o silly man”

4. The stewardship that leaves a good witness

2nd Peter 3.1This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

Deeds as well as doctrines

Devotion as well as devices

Distribution as well as dominion

5.Souls that are lost need to be won

Acts 17:15And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.

16Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.

Blinded by the sinful God of this world

Blundering and point to another

Branded like cattle for the slaughter

6. A sentence that last is written

Isaiah 14:9Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

Imprisonment for ever never be free again

Torment of memories of sin for ever

No more love in your lives

7. Trumpet that calls to the wedding

1st Cor.15:52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Watch and pray

Look up at all times

You may hear the sound at any time

Live so we will be glad to see him.
