Let It Go! Series

Summary: There are times in life we must let go of issue that are related to personal pride and learn to lean completely on Christ.
Let It Go!
Galatians 4: 21-31
1. Be very careful what you pursue (21-23).
A. There seems to be some intrinsic value in doing
things ourselves.
B. Paul tells us that this is a very dangerous thing
when it relates to your righteousness.
C. To truly be born again and to experience the
power of the Spirit in your life depends upon
God, not upon you (see John 6:44 and Eph 2:8-9).
2. In life we have two choices related to our righteousness
(24-27):
A. Do it yourself .
B. Depend on Christ.
3. God’s intention (28-31).
A. You live as a child of promise.
B. You will face persecution because of the promise
in your life.
C. Those outside the promise will never share in
your inheritance.
D. You will live in freedom.
